Sterling Silver Natural Chatoyant Blue Topaz Ring Cat's Eye Topaz 4.4g Sz 6.5. A very good condition, most likely vintage, sterling silver ring with a rare and fantastic natural blue cat's eye (chatoyant) ring. It's not your average topaz stone. At first glance it looks like a very very blue flashy moonstone, but it tests as topaz with Presidium Gem Tester II.

The chatoyancy that this stone emits is very cool. The inclusions are situated just right, and it was cut and polished to bring out it's natural cat's eye effect. It's not the best representation of the cat's eye effect, but it is there, it moves with the light source or ring movement and it is always blue from all angles. The natural inclusions give it plenty of character.

The stone measures approximately 13.9 x 6.7mm and the band measures 4.4mm wide at the rear. It is signed, but undetermined in more than one place and acid tests as sterling silver. It's a very good condition sterling ring with a rare and beautiful cat's eye topaz and it shows only very minor signs of age appropriate wear. Please refer to the pictures for a detailed look.
